Overview of Flex Modifications

Resolve ® allows you to submit Flex Modification workout requests to Freddie Mac for review and decisioning.

Flex Modification types for workout requests include:

• Flex Modification
• COVID-19 Flex Modification
• Disaster Flex Modification

UI Users: Users can upload a single or multiple loan file to submit Flex Modifications for approval. Results are returned and can be viewed in the Resolve Dashboard.

API Users: For Servicers who use the API technology, Flex Modification exception review requests must be submitted through the API for Freddie Mac's review and approval prior to offering a Trial Period to a borrower.
