Overview
Pakistan Marine Academy (PMA) is inviting applications from energetic, fresh, and diligent candidates for the 63rd Batch of Nautical or Engineering Cadets (Session 2024-2025). This opportunity is available for Pakistani male candidates who have completed their Intermediate education and are interested in joining the Merchant Navy.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Only Pakistani nationality holders are eligible. Candidates from FATA, Gilgit Baltistan, AJK, and Balochistan are also eligible.
- Marital Status & Gender: Only unmarried male citizens of Pakistan can apply.
- Age Limit: Candidates should not be above 20 years of age as of 31st December 2024. For candidates from FATA, Gilgit Baltistan, AJK, and Balochistan, the age limit is 21 years as of 31st December 2024.
- Educational Requirements: Candidates must have passed HSSC (Pre-Engineering) or O-Level with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 55% marks. Those awaiting results may also apply but must provide a hope certificate.
How to Apply
- Prospectus and Application Form: Obtain from the official PMA website www.marineacademy.edu.pk or from the PMA Head Office.
- Payment: Submit a pay order/bank draft of Rs. 3500/- in NBP Branch Pakistan Marine Academy (Code0293).
- For Self-Finance applicants, submit a pay order/bank draft of Rs. 300,000/- (refundable if selected on open merit).
- Entrance Test: Conducted by National Testing Service in Karachi, Sukkur, Lahore, Multan, Muzaffarabad, Peshawar, Abbottabad, Quetta, Gwadar, AJK. Candidates must obtain at least 45% marks to qualify.
- Medical Examination: Will be held at CMH/PNS.
